The FWES PTA is a completely volunteer organization that relies on our parent and caregiver community to run all of our programs. By volunteering, you share your skills and interests with your child and all the children in the FWES community.
There are benefits you receive when you volunteer:
Connect: you gain a clearer understanding of our school structure, the IB attributes, and build relationships with other involved parents at school.
Support: you serve as a role model to your children and other students.
Grow: you inspire, educate, and motivate future generations!
There are many ways you can volunteer and several opportunities are time flexible. We encourage you to find something that fits your talents and schedule.
WCPSS REQUIRED
All WCPSS parent and community volunteers are required to register through the MyVolunteer system. All volunteers must pass criminal history and sexual offender registry checks and comply with WCPSS Board policy 5020: Visitors to the School. There is no cost to applicants, and processing typically takes 24–72 hours.
When you arrive at school to volunteer, you must always go to the main office first and sign in using the Visitor Management System with a valid ID.

Make sure you include your name and contact information when you begin the registration process. If you leave the CRC background site before completing your contact information, you will have to begin the process again.
You must include your social security number to register to volunteer. If you do not have a social security number, please contact volunteers@wcpss.net.
You will be notified by the MyVolunteer system if you are approved to volunteer.
