FAQs

What is a trunk or treat?

Trunk or Treat promotes a fun, safe environment for children and families to trick or treat.  Kids dress up in costume and walk between decorated trunks of vehicles in the school’s upper parking lot.  Parent volunteers provide the trunks and the treats for our trick or treaters by parking in the lot and handing out treats from their decorated car trunk. Treats can include commercially packaged candy or other non-food items such as pencils, erasers, stickers, tattoos, small toys, or glow sticks. Costumes encouraged for the whole family!  Please don’t forget a bag to collect your treats. This event is for FWES families and their friends.

Can we access the rest of the school campus?

The playground is available, although it will get dark during the event.  The school building will be closed, so there is no access to bathrooms.  Please plan accordingly.

Where? Everyone will walk through the “upper” lot, making one loop through the parking lot in the same flow as carpool. Trunk vehicles park in the upper parking lot.  All other visitors should park in the lower bus lot.
