Farmington Woods Elementary School PTA

Join the PTA

Our voices are stronger together! Farmington Woods relies on our strong family community to volunteer time and to provide funding for programs, classroom supplies and technology. By joining forces with other NC PTAs and the national PTA organization, we amplify our ability to raise awareness for issues like teacher pay, classroom mandates, and other laws that impact our students. The PTA provides enrichment activities for all students, including cultural arts performances, classroom technology, student subscriptions for RAZ Kids and Pebble Go, start-up funds to improve teacher classrooms, and fun social activities such as movie nights and family picnics. It also supports staff appreciation events like staff meals and spearheading appreciation weeks.

Why Should I Join?

By joining you have a voice! You may vote on the PTA budget, including the proposals for which programs and projects are funded in the upcoming year. We need your ideas, your voice, and your vote!

PTA events and programs are also opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, build a rapport, and discuss issues that are on your mind. Together we are stronger! We are more inclusive, we are more responsive to the needs of our students and our community, and we gain more insight into what programs and services we need in the future.
