Farmington Woods relies on our strong family community and the PTA to be an advocate for the school, while providing funding and volunteer time for programs, supplies, technology, and more. By joining forces with other NC PTAs and the national PTA organization, we amplify our ability to raise awareness for issues and laws that impact all our students. Trunk or Treat will be held on Friday October 25 from 6 - 7pm. We need your help with trunks and treats!
Please join us! All PTA members as of November 15 will be entered into a random drawing for a $25 gift card to any community partner from R City Rocks.
Hook a Book needs readers! Please review the available slots and choose a time that works for you. You can read to any classroom. Kids love having volunteer readers! Must be an approved volunteer to participate.
Apex Leadership is back with valuable lessons for all our students, with a Global Fun Run on the morning of Thursday October 31. Please help! PTA needs volunteers to mark laps, take pictures, help at the water station, and more. You must be an approved volunteer.

These photos can include any PTA or school events, field trips, spirit days, spirit rock, first day of school, etc.

Family Engagement Chair - Help plan family engagement events at FWES. Oversee events open to all FWES families and staff such as Coffee Chats, Pajama Jam, Welcome Back Picnic, movie nights, and more. Commitment: several hours a month planning (can be done at home) and help as needed at each event. Contact services@fwespta.org
Yearbook: If you have interest in photographing or graphics layout please consider helping out with the Yearbook! You can work with Lauri Van Oostrum-Reed to learn this year. This work can be done partly offline.
Garden: If you love gardening, Anna Watkins can use help in organizing our garden.
